Michael was appointed by the governor of Maryland to the State Workers` Compensation Advisory Committee on Budget. His appointment was just confirmed by the Senate.

In addition to these activities he is actively involved in the Bar Associations of Charles, St. Mary's and Calvert Counties. A graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law, Mr. Schreyer also contributes his time on the boards of directors of several community service organizations.
